Avadhuta Upanishad 4 — Verse 4

tasya priyaṃ śiraḥ kṛtvā modo dakṣiṇapakṣakaḥ | pramoda uttaraḥ pakṣa ānando goṣpadāyate ||4||

Making ‘Priya’ his head, ‘Moda’ the right wing, ‘Pramoda’ the left wing, ‘Ānanda’ becomes (for him) like the footprint of a cow (i.e., very small).

Ānanda-taratamya (gradation of bliss) and transcendence even of experiential bliss in Brahman-knowledgeMahavakya: Indirect: points beyond experiential states to the non-dual ground indicated by mahāvākyas (Brahman as not an object of enjoyment).AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
