Amritnada

यथा पर्वतधातूनां दह्यन्ते धमनान्मलाः । तथेन्द्रियकृता दोषा दह्यन्ते प्राणनिग्रहात् ॥७॥

यथा । पर्वत-धातूनाम् । दह्यन्ते । धमनात् । मलाः । तथा । इन्द्रिय-कृताः । दोषाः । दह्यन्ते । प्राण-निग्रहात् ॥७॥

IAST Transliteration

yathā parvatadhātūnāṃ dahyante dhamanān malāḥ | tathendriyakṛtā doṣā dahyante prāṇanigrahāt ||7||

Translation

ເຫມືອນດັ່ງແຮ່ທາດໃນພູເຂົາ ຄວາມສົກປົກຖືກເຜົາອອກໂດຍການພັດລົມໃນເຕົາ, ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ຄວາມບົກພ່ອງທີ່ເກີດຈາກອິນຊີ ຖືກເຜົາອອກໂດຍການກົດຂັງລົມຫາຍໃຈ.

Academic Translation

Just as, for the minerals (ores) of mountains, impurities are burned away by blowing (in the furnace), so the faults produced by the senses are burned away by restraint of the breath.
