Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: At Prabhāsa, a humble brāhmaṇa with sparse belongings accepts alms only out of necessity, then offers a measured tenth into a dāna-vessel before a shrine, while a darker figure symbolizes the ‘durātmā’ who clings to gain and loses both worlds.
Improper acceptance destroys both worldly and otherworldly good; necessity may be tempered by disciplined giving.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where conduct around receiving and giving is judged with special seriousness.
If compelled to accept, a brāhmaṇa should donate one-tenth of earnings (daśāṃśa-dāna) to avoid spiritual diminishment.
