vajrāṃga uvāca | kena te'pakṛtaṃ bhīru vartaṃtyāstapasi svake | kathaṃ rodiṣi vā bāle mayi jīvati bhartari | kaṃ vā kāmaṃ prayacchāmi śīghraṃ prabrūhi bhāmini
Vajrāṅga
Scene: Vajrāṅga stands before his weeping wife, voice firm yet gentle; one hand in reassurance, the other indicating readiness to act; the wife remains partly veiled by foliage, tears on her cheeks; the forest frames a charged moment of protection and promise.
Householder-dharma includes protection, reassurance, and readiness to remedy a spouse’s suffering through righteous action.
No specific tīrtha is referenced in this verse; it is part of a character dialogue.
None directly; tapas (austerity) is mentioned as the wife’s state, not as a formal prescription here.
