इन्द्रद्युम्न उवाच । पृच्छामि त्वामहं ब्रह्मन्यदायुरिदमीदृशम् । तव दीर्घं प्रभावोऽसौ दानस्य तपसोऽथवा
indradyumna uvāca | pṛcchāmi tvāmahaṃ brahmanyadāyuridamīdṛśam | tava dīrghaṃ prabhāvo'sau dānasya tapaso'thavā
ອິນດຣະດຸມນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ພຣາຫມັນ, ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຂໍຖາມທ່ານ—ເຫດໃດອາຍຸຂອງທ່ານຈຶ່ງເປັນເຊັ່ນນີ້? ອຳນາດອັນໃຫຍ່ແລະຍືນຍາວນີ້ ເກີດຈາກທານ ຫຼື ຈາກຕະປະ?»
