अपत्यविक्रयात्कल्पं वसेद्विट्कृमिभोजने । अतो नाण्वपि कन्याया उपजीव्यं नरैर्धनम्

Transliteration

apatyavikrayātkalpaṃ vasedviṭkṛmibhojane | ato nāṇvapi kanyāyā upajīvyaṃ narairdhanam

Translation

ຜູ້ໃດຂາຍລູກຫຼານ ຈະຕ້ອງຢູ່ເປັນເວລາໜຶ່ງກັລປະໃນໂລກທີ່ແມ່ທ້ອງກິນຂອງເປື້ອນ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ມະນຸດບໍ່ຄວນດຳລົງຊີວິດແມ່ນແຕ່ດ້ວຍຊັບນ້ອຍນິດທີ່ໄດ້ຈາກ ‘ຄ່າ’ ຂອງລູກສາວ.
