āpohiṣṭheti tisṛbhirmārjanaṃ tu tataścaret | bhūmau śirasi cākāśa ākāśe bhuvi mastake

ຕໍ່ຈາກນັ້ນ ພຶງເຮັດມາຣຈະນະ (mārjana) ຄືການຊໍາລະດ້ວຍການປະພົມນ້ໍາ ໂດຍໃຊ້ສາມບົດທີ່ເລີ່ມດ້ວຍ ‘Āpo hi ṣṭhā…’. ພິທີນີ້ປະຕິບັດຕາມການຈັດວາງດັ້ງເດີມ ໂດຍວາງ ‘ດິນ’ ແລະ ‘ຟ້າ’ ໃນຕໍາແໜ່ງຂອງຕົນຕາມຄຳສອນ.
