Scene: Pilgrims descend broad stone steps to the Revā, perform snāna with cupped hands offering arghya; beyond, a riverside Śaiva precinct with multiple liṅgas under bilva trees; priests guide darśana as sunlight glints on flowing water.
Bathing in the Narmadā and having darśana of Śiva-liṅgas is declared equivalent to the aggregate merit of many pilgrimages.
