Vishnu
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It teaches that when one is established in sanātana-dharma—aligned with the divine order upheld by Shiva as Pati—suffering naturally subsides, like darkness vanishing in sunlight.
Linga-worship trains the mind toward Shiva’s presence and dharmic living; as devotion and right conduct mature, inner “darkness” (ignorance and grief) is dispelled by the clear vision of the Lord’s grace.
Practice daily Shiva-smaraṇa with japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and live dharmically; this steady alignment is the ‘sunrise’ that removes tamas-like sorrow.
