Brahmā (pronouncing an auspicious benediction regarding Śiva–Satī’s union)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It portrays the divine marriage as a world-guiding “ketu” (emblem): Shiva’s grace and Satī’s auspicious power make their union a visible standard of dharma that leads beings toward purification and liberation.
Calling Shiva a “universal banner” aligns with Saguna worship: devotees approach the manifest Lord through sacred signs—especially the Śiva-liṅga—as the foremost emblem of Shiva’s presence and saving guidance in the world.
Take the verse as a dhyāna: contemplate Shiva as the guiding ketu and recite the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while offering bilva leaves to the liṅga, cultivating steadiness in dharma and devotion.
