Rig Veda 10.43.7: Mandala 10, Sukta 43, Mantra 7

Sukta 10.43

Devata: Indra (with Soma as means)
Chandas: Trishtubh (probable; requires verification)

आपो न सिन्धुमभि यत्समक्षरन्त्सोमास इन्द्रं कुल्या इव ह्रदम् । वर्धन्ति विप्रा महो अस्य सादने यवं न वृष्टिर्दिव्येन दानुना ॥

ā́po ná síndhum abhí yát samákṣaran sómāsa índraṃ kulyā́ iva hradám | várdhanti víprā máho asya sā́dane yávaṃ ná vṛṣṭír divyéna dā́nunā ||

As waters flow together into the river, so the Somas stream to Indra as channels to a lake. The seers increase his greatness in his seat, as rain by the heavenly giver makes the barley grow.
