Sukta 1.176
तस्मिन्ना वेशया गिरो य एकश्चर्षणीनाम् । अनु स्वधा यमुप्यते यवं न चर्कृषद्वृषा ॥
tásminn ā́ veśayā gíro yá ékaś carṣaṇī́nām | ánu svadhā́ yám úpyate yávam ná carkṛ́ṣad vṛ́ṣā ||
In him set our utterances—who alone stands for the peoples. Following his own law of being, he is pressed forth, like barley well-ground, the Bull that makes the energies ready for the work.
