नैतत्किञ्चनरामस्यनचरामोमुमूर्षति ।।6.46.40।।नह्येनंहास्यतेलक्ष्मीद्दुर्लभायागतायुषाम् ।
naitat kiñcana rāmasya na ca rāmo mumūrṣati | na hy enaṃ hāsyate lakṣmīr durlabhā yā gatāyuṣām ||

"Therefore, Rama has no fear of death, even a little. Whatever splendour is lost, prosperity will not leave him."
Dharma is sustained by truthful confidence: one should not surrender to panic when the righteous cause has not truly failed.
With Rāma appearing incapacitated, morale collapses; Vibhīṣaṇa counters despair by asserting that Rāma will not die and that auspicious fortune remains with him.
