O son of the Raghus', from then onwards with affection towards my sister Kausiki, I am living happily in the vicinity of Himavat mountains.
The verse underscores dharma as grounded in right relationships: affection and duty toward kin (here, a sister) harmonize with a life oriented toward sacred places and disciplined living.
Viśvāmitra shifts into autobiographical narration, explaining his residence near Himavat and his bond with Kauśikī.
Steadfast affection (sneha) joined with settled, purposeful living in a sacred environment.
