eṣā vasumatī rāma vasos tasya mahātmanaḥ | ete śailavarāḥ pañca prakāśante samantataḥ ||

ໂອ ຣາມາ, ແຜ່ນດິນນີ້ທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ “ວສຸມະຕີ” ເປັນຂອງພຣະຣາຊາວສຸ ຜູ້ມີຈິດໃຈຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່. ຮອບດ້ານທັງປວງ ມີພູເຂົາອັນປະເສີດຫ້າລູກ ປາກົດສ່ອງແສງສະຫວ່າງ.
