Directions from Bharadvaja’s Hermitage to Chitrakuta
सा सम्प्रहृष्टद्विपवाजियोधा वित्रासयन्ती मृगपक्षिसङ्घान्। महद्वनं तत्प्रतिगाहमाना रराज सेना भरतस्य तत्र।।2.92.39।।
sā samprahṛṣṭa-dvipa-vāji-yodhā vitrāsayantī mṛga-pakṣi-saṅghān | mahad vanaṃ tat pratigāhamānā rarāja senā bharatasya tatra || 2.92.39 ||

Bharata saluted with folded palms the sage of great powers. And emerging from the hermitage, replied:
The verse frames power as purposeful: the army’s might is not for conquest but for a dharmic objective, underscoring that strength should serve righteousness.
Bharata’s troops enter a great forest; the movement and noise scatter animals and birds as the host advances.
Collective courage and morale directed toward duty, not personal gain.
