एतेषु क्रमशः स्नात्वा देवानभ्यर्च्य यत्नतः । पितॄन्संतर्प्य तोयेन सर्वतीर्थफलं लभेत् ॥ ८७ ॥

It teaches that tīrtha-snāna becomes spiritually complete only when joined with deva-pūjā (worship of the gods) and pitṛ-tarpaṇa (water-offerings to ancestors), yielding sarva-tīrtha-phala—merit equivalent to all pilgrimages.
Bhakti is implied through yatnataḥ abhyarcya—earnest worship. The verse frames pilgrimage not as mere travel, but as reverent devotion expressed through worship and grateful remembrance of the Pitṛs.
