It links devatā-arcana (ritual worship) performed with sincere bhakti to specific posthumous attainments: “akṣaya” (imperishable) lokas through Śiva-oriented devotion, and Sūryaloka through worship of the Sun-tirtha/deity Nagarārka.
Bhakti is presented as the decisive inner factor—worship “with Śiva as the intention” yields enduring spiritual fruit, showing that devotion is not merely external ritual but an intentional, deity-centered offering that produces elevated lokas.
Ritual practice (arcana/pujā) is emphasized—proper worship (prārcya) at a named sacred locus (tirtha/devatā). This aligns most closely with Kalpa (procedural aspects of rites), rather than grammar or astrology.
