वसुरुवाच । श्रृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि कामोदाख्यानकं शुभम् । यच्छ्रुत्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मुच्यते नात्र संशयः ॥ २ ॥

vasuruvāca | śrṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi kāmodākhyānakaṃ śubham | yacchrutvā sarvapāpebhyo mucyate nātra saṃśayaḥ || 2 ||

ວະສຸກ່າວວ່າ: «ຈົ່ງຟັງເຖີດ ໂອ ເທວີ, ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເລົ່າເລື່ອງມົງຄຸນທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ ກາໂມດາ; ຜູ້ໃດໄດ້ຟັງແລ້ວ ຍ່ອມພົ້ນຈາກບາບທັງປວງ—ບໍ່ມີຄວາມສົງໄສເລີຍ»។
