Narada (teaching within Uttara-Bhāga tīrtha/mahatmya discourse; traditionally framed in dialogue with Sanatkumāra lineage)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"adbhuta","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Astonishment at the extraordinary efficacy of the rite—moving from sin-burning power to concrete healing/protection (poison, leprosy), ending in reassurance."}
It asserts the extraordinary purificatory power of a single correctly performed sacred act (nyāsa/placing/applying in a ritual-tīrtha context), capable of burning vast karmic demerit and restoring spiritual purity.
By emphasizing immediate grace-like efficacy—one sincere, properly directed act linked to sacred power can transform karma—echoing the Bhakti theme that wholehearted reliance on the divine/sacred quickly purifies and protects.
It implies correct ritual application (prayoga) and precision of performance—areas supported by Vedāṅga disciplines like Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Śikṣā/Vyākaraṇa (accurate recitation and wording) to ensure the intended fruit.
