Sage Narada
Vrata: Śrāddha (ancestral rite)
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that properly performed śrāddha—especially the sapiṇḍīkaraṇa-connected rite—has salvific power: it can uplift one’s lineage and orient them toward Viṣṇu-loka, linking pitr-karma with liberation-oriented devotion.
The fruit of the rite is explicitly framed as reaching Viṣṇu’s realm and abode, showing that ritual duty (dharma) becomes bhakti when its intention and result are centered on Viṣṇu rather than merely worldly merit.
It highlights kalpa (ritual procedure) through śrāddha and sapiṇḍīkaraṇa performance—precision in ancestral rites and their prescribed sequence is implied as the practical takeaway.
