FAQs

It teaches non-dual fidelity in sacred bonds: the realized person sees the guru and disciple (and similarly husband and wife) as a single shared dharmic identity rather than two competing egos.

By removing “difference” (bheda) between devotee and guide, it supports bhakti as surrender and alignment—where the disciple’s will harmonizes with the guru’s instruction, enabling steady devotion and transformation.

It emphasizes śiṣṭācāra (authoritative conduct) grounded in dharma rather than a technical Vedanga; practically, it guides correct relational discipline—humility, unity of purpose, and avoidance of divisive thinking in study and rites.
