Narada (narrating within a Tirtha-Mahatmya account)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"karuna","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_journey":"Begins in intimate, bodily closeness amid suffering, then intensifies into a fierce act of self-sacrificial burning for the husband."}
It highlights intense spousal fidelity (pativratā-bhāva) expressed through a dramatic Puranic act, underscoring how powerful resolve and dharma-driven intention are portrayed in Tirtha-Mahatmya narratives.
The verse depicts single-pointed commitment and self-offering—qualities that, when redirected to Bhagavan (especially Vishnu in Narada Purana’s broader theology), become the inner mood of bhakti: unwavering dedication and surrender.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana or Jyotisha) is taught in this verse; it functions primarily as narrative dharma-illustration within a Mahatmya context rather than a technical ritual/astrological instruction.
