सनंदन उवाच । मूर्द्धास्यबाहुहृत्क्रोडांतर्बस्तिव्यंजसोनखः । जानुजंघांघ्नियुगलं कालांगानि क्रियादयः ॥ १ ॥
sanaṃdana uvāca | mūrddhāsyabāhuhṛtkroḍāṃtarbastivyaṃjasonakhaḥ | jānujaṃghāṃghniyugalaṃ kālāṃgāni kriyādayaḥ || 1 ||
ສະນັນດະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ຫົວ, ປາກ, ແຂນ, ຫົວໃຈ, ຊ່ອງໃນແຫ່ງລໍາຕົວ, ກະເພາະປັດສະວະ, ເຄື່ອງໝາຍ ແລະ ເລັບ; ພ້ອມທັງ ຫົວເຂົ່າ, ແຂ້ງຂາ, ແລະ ຄູ່ຕີນ—ເຫຼົ່ານີ້ເອີ້ນວ່າ “ອະວະ” ຂອງກາລະ (ເວລາ) ພ້ອມດ້ວຍ ກິຣິຍາ (ການກະທໍາ) ແລະອື່ນໆ ອັນເປັນຫຼັກການປະຕິບັດຂອງມັນ.
