इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे हरिश्चन्द्रोपाख्यानं नामाष्टमोऽध्यायः ।
नवमोऽध्यायः
पक्षिण ऊचुः राज्यच्युते हरिश्चन्द्रे गते च त्रिदशालयम् ।
निश्चक्राम महातेजा जलवासात् पुरोहितः ॥
iti śrī-mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇe hariścandropākhyānaṃ nāmāṣṭamo 'dhyāyaḥ | navamo 'dhyāyaḥ | pakṣiṇa ūcuḥ rājya-cyute hariścandre gate ca tridaśālayam | niścakrāma mahā-tejā jala-vāsāt purohitaḥ ||
