Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
यक्ष्ये यज्ञेन धर्माय कर्तव्याश्च तथेष्टयः ।
चितयस्तत्र कर्तव्या नास्ति मे दक्षिणा यतः ॥
yakṣye yajñena dharmāya kartavyāś ca tatheṣṭayaḥ | citayas tatra kartavyā nāsti me dakṣiṇā yataḥ
ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະບູຊາດ້ວຍຍັດຍະ (yajña) ເພື່ອທຳມະ, ແລະພິທີອັນຖືກຕ້ອງຕ້ອງຖືກປະຕິບັດ. ຈະຕ້ອງສ້າງຈິຕະຍາ (citayā) ຢູ່ທີ່ນັ້ນ, ແຕ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າບໍ່ມີດັກຊິນາ (dakṣiṇā) ເປັນຄ່າພຣາຫມະນ໌.
