तमथाश्वासयन् सर्वे ब्राह्मणा भ्रातृभि: सह | अथ धौम्योडब्रवीद् वाक्यं महार्थ नृपतिं तदा
tam athāśvāsayan sarve brāhmaṇā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | atha dhaumyo 'bravīd vākyam mahārthaṃ nṛpatiṃ tadā ||
ແລ້ວພຣາຫມະນະທັງຫຼາຍ ພ້ອມກັບພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງພຣະອົງ ໄດ້ປອບໃຈພຣະອົງ. ຕໍ່ມາ ມະຫາລິສີ ທໍມຍະ ໄດ້ກ່າວຖ້ອຍຄຳອັນມີນັຍລຶກຊຶ້ງແກ່ພຣະຣາຊາ—ເພື່ອໃຫ້ຈິດໃຈພຣະອົງສະຫງົບ ແລະນຳພາໄປສູ່ຄວາມຕັ້ງໃຈອັນຊອບທຳ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
In moments of distress, righteous leadership is sustained by wise counsel and the steadying support of the learned; profound instruction (mahārtha) is offered not merely to inform, but to restore dharmic clarity and resolve.
After the king is shaken, the brāhmaṇas and his brothers reassure him; then the sage Dhaumya begins a serious, meaningful address to the king (contextually Yudhiṣṭhira), setting up a moral or strategic counsel that follows.
