याज्ञसेन्या: परामृद्धि दृष्टवा प्रजवयलितामिव । स्नुषास्ता धृतराष्ट्रस्य नातिप्रमनसो5भवन्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | yājñasenyāḥ parāmṛddhiṃ dṛṣṭvā prajvalitām iva | snuṣās tā dhṛtarāṣṭrasya nātipramanaso 'bhavan ||

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອເຫັນຄວາມຮັ່ງມີອັນສຸດຍອດ ສະຫວ່າງໄສດັ່ງໄຟ ຂອງຢາຊະເສນີ (ດຣອບະດີ) ບັນດາລູກສະໄພຂອງທຣິຕະຣາສະຕຣະ ບໍ່ໄດ້ຍິນດີຫຼາຍ. ພາບນີ້ຊີ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນວ່າ ຄວາມອິດສາແລະການແຂ່ງຂັນ ອາດກົດທັບຄວາມສຸພາບແລະທຳມະ ແມ່ນແຕ່ໃນວັງຫຼວງ ເມື່ອຄວາມເລີດລ້ຳຂອງຜູ້ອື່ນຖືກເຫັນເປັນໄພ ບໍ່ແມ່ນເປັນເກຍດທີ່ຄວນຖວາຍ.
