Arjuna Breaks the Encirclement; Bhīma Reinforces
देवासुरे पार्थमृथे देवदानवयोरिव । पश्यन्तु कौरवा: सर्वे तव पार्थ पराक्रमम्
devāsure pārthamṛthe devadānavayor iva | paśyantu kauravāḥ sarve tava pārtha parākramam ||
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຂໍໃຫ້ກອງກົວຣະວະທັງໝົດໄດ້ເຫັນວິລະກຳຂອງເຈົ້າ, ໂອ ປາຣຖະ, ໃນການປະຈັນໜ້ານີ້—ເຫມືອນການປະທະອັນໂດ່ງດັງລະຫວ່າງເທວະແລະອະສຸຣະ, ສົງຄາມຂອງເທວະແລະດານະວະ. ເມື່ອວີຣະບຸລຸດທັງສອງຜູ້ມີຊື່ສຽງທົ່ວໂລກເຂົ້າສູ່ການຮົບດ້ວຍໄຟກ້າຫານເຕັມທີ່, ຂໍໃຫ້ຄວາມກ້າຫານຂອງເຈົ້າຖືກເຫັນໂດຍທຸກຄົນ».
संजय उवाच
The verse frames human warfare in the epic as morally and emotionally charged spectacle: heroic action (parākrama) is not merely private effort but a public, accountable display before one’s community. By invoking the Deva–Asura paradigm, it highlights the archetypal scale of conflict and the expectation that a kṣatriya’s valor be evident and judged in the open.
Sañjaya, narrating the battlefield to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, compares the impending/ongoing duel involving Pārtha (Arjuna) to the legendary war between gods and demons. He declares that all the Kauravas will witness Arjuna’s prowess as the renowned warriors engage with full enthusiasm.
