आसीद् भीमसहायस्य रौद्रमाधिरथेर्गतम् । जैसे वायुकी सहायता पाकर सूखे वनमें तथा घास-फूँसमें अग्निकी गति बढ़ जाती है, उसी प्रकार उस महायुद्धमें भीमसेनके साथ सूतपुत्र कर्णकी भयंकर गति बढ़ गयी थी
