अन्यांश्व शतशो बाणान् प्रेषयामास पार्षते । दुर्योधनहितार्थाय भर्तृपिण्डमनुस्मरन्,उसके बाद दुर्योधनके हितके लिये स्वामीके अन्नका विचार करते हुए धृष्टद्युम्नपर और भी सैकड़ों बाण चलाये
anyāṁś ca śataśo bāṇān preṣayāmāsa pārṣate | duryodhana-hitārthāya bhartṛ-piṇḍam anusmaran ||
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: ຕໍ່ມາ ເພື່ອປະໂຫຍດຂອງ ດຸຣໂຢທະນະ, ໂດຍລະລຶກເຖິງຂ້າວນໍ້າທີ່ເຄີຍໄດ້ຮັບຈາກນາຍຂອງຕົນ, ລາວໄດ້ຍິງລູກສອນເປັນຮ້ອຍໆໃສ່ ທຣິດສະຕະດຸມນະ.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical force of indebtedness and patronage: remembering the sustenance received from one’s lord (bhartṛ-piṇḍa) becomes a motive for steadfast loyalty, even in morally fraught circumstances like battle.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra war narration, the warrior (implied from context) fires hundreds of additional arrows at Dhṛṣṭadyumna, doing so with the intention of securing Duryodhana’s advantage, driven by remembrance of his obligation to his patron.
