उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
पृथग्जनस्य सर्वस्य क्षुद्रका: प्रहसन्ति च । नृत्यन्ति परिगायन्ति वेदयन्तो महद् भयम्
pṛthagjanasya sarvasya kṣudrakāḥ prahasanti ca | nṛtyanti parigāyanti vedayanto mahad bhayam ||
ວະຍາສະກ່າວວ່າ: «ໃນຫມູ່ຊາວບ້ານທົ່ວໄປທຸກແຫ່ງ, ແມ່ນແຕ່ເດັກນ້ອຍທີ່ເກີດໃນຕະກູນຕ່ຳ—ເຊັ່ນ ຄົນຕາຂ້າງດຽວ ຫຼື ຫຼັງຄ້ອມ—ກໍຫົວເຮາະດັງໆ ຮ້ອງ ແລະຟ້ອນ ດັ່ງກຳລັງປະກາດຄວາມຢ້ານກົວອັນໃຫຍ່ອັນອັບມົງຄົນ. ໂລກເອງຮາວກັບກຳລັງສົ່ງສັນຍາເຕືອນວ່າ ສົງຄາມທີ່ຈະມາຈະນຳຄວາມຫວາດກົວ ແລະຄວາມປັ່ນປ່ວນຢ່າງກວ້າງຂວາງ»។
