न व | / |! ( ४ 5 ॥ भक्ष्यखाण्डवरागाणां क्रियतां भुज्यतां तथा । पशूनां बध्यतां चैव नान््तं ददृशिरे जना:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhakṣya-khāṇḍava-rāgāṇāṃ kriyatāṃ bhujyatāṃ tathā | paśūnāṃ badhyatāṃ caiva nāntaṃ dadṛśire janāḥ ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ອາຫານນານາ ແລະ ເຄື່ອງດື່ມຫວານທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ «ຄານດະວະ-ຣາກະ» ຖືກຈັດເຮັດ ແລະ ບໍລິໂພກຢ່າງຫຼາຍຫຼວງ ຈົນຜູ້ຄົນບໍ່ເຫັນຂອບເຂດ. ທັງຈໍານວນສັດທີ່ຖືກມັດໄວ້ຢູ່ນັ້ນກໍເຫມືອນບໍ່ມີທີ່ສິ້ນສຸດ.
