माल्यैर्गन्धैश्व विविधैरर्चयित्वा यथाविधि । कुल्यानि तेषां संयोज्य तदाचख्युर्महीपते:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

mālyair gandhaiś ca vividhair arcayitvā yathāvidhi |

kulyāni teṣāṃ saṃyojya tadācakhyur mahīpateḥ ||

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອໄດ້ບູຊາຕາມພິທີອັນຖືກຕ້ອງ ດ້ວຍພວງມາລາຫຼາຍຊະນິດ ແລະເຄື່ອງຫອມນານາ ພວກເຂົາກໍຮວບຮວມແລະຈັດວາງຊາກຂອງພວກນັ້ນ ແລ້ວຈຶ່ງໄປກ່າວທູນແດ່ພະຣາຊາ. ຕອນນີ້ຍ້ຳເນັ້ນໜ້າທີ່ທາງທຳຂອງຜູ້ຍັງມີຊີວິດ: ການສຳເລັດພິທີສົບດ້ວຍຄວາມເຄົາລົບ—ແປງຫຼັງພິບັດໃຫ້ເປັນການປະຕິບັດທຳ ຜ່ານພິທີອັນຖືກຕ້ອງ ການລະລຶກ ແລະການທູນຄວາມຈິງແດ່ຜູ້ປົກຄອງ.
