Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation

नाम संकीर्तयेत्‌ तस्या यथासंख्योत्तरं स वै । “जो गौके निष्क्रयरूपसे उसका मूल्य

Transliteration

nāma saṅkīrtayet tasyā yathāsaṅkhyottaraṃ sa vai |

Translation

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຄວນເອີ້ນນາມທີ່ກຳນົດໄວ້ສຳລັບ (ການຖວາຍງົວແບບທົດແທນ) ຕາມລຳດັບທີ່ກ່າວໄວ້.» ໃນບົດບາດນີ້ ຄຳສອນໝາຍເຖິງຄວາມຖືກຕ້ອງທາງທຳ: ແມ່ນແຕ່ເມື່ອຖວາຍຄ່າໄຖ່ຂອງງົວ (ລາຄາ), ຫຼືຜ້າ, ຫຼືຄຳ ແທນງົວຈິງ ຜູ້ຖວາຍກໍຄວນກຳນົດທານນັ້ນດ້ວຍ “ນາມງົວ” ທີ່ເໝາະສົມ ໃນເວລາຕັ້ງສັງກັລປະ (saṅkalpa) ເພື່ອໃຫ້ການກະທຳນັ້ນຖືກນັບເປັນ go-dāna ຢ່າງຖືກພິທີ ທັງໃນເຈດຕະນາແລະຮູບແບບພິທີ.
