Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation

गोप्रदानीति वक्तव्यमर्घ्यवस्त्रवसुप्रद: । ऊर्ध्वास्या भवितव्या च वैष्णवीति च चोदयेत्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | gopradānīti vaktavyam arghyavastravasupradaḥ | ūrdhvāsyā bhavitavyā ca vaiṣṇavīti ca codayet ||

Translation

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຄວນປະກາດເຂົາຢ່າງເປັນທາງການວ່າ ‘ຜູ້ຖວາຍງົວ’ ແລະວ່າເປັນຜູ້ປະທານເຄື່ອງບູຊາອັນຄວນແກ່ການເຄົາລົບ, ເສື້ອຜ້າ ແລະຊັບສິນ. ຄວນກະຕຸ້ນໃຫ້ເຂົາຍົກໜ້າຂຶ້ນ (ດ້ວຍຄວາມໝັ້ນໃຈອັນເປັນມົງຄຸນ) ແລະເອີ້ນພ້ອມຊູ້ໃຈວ່າ ‘ໄວສະນະວີ’—ຜູ້ອຸທິດໃຈແດ່ພຣະວິສະນຸ.»
