Go-dāna-phala-nirdeśa

Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows

धर्मज्ञ पितामह! यह सब मैं यथावत्‌ रूपसे जानना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है ।।

bhīṣma uvāca | yo vrataṃ vai yathoddiṣṭaṃ tathā sampratipadyate | akhaṇḍaṃ samyag ārabhya tasya lokāḥ sanātanāḥ ||

ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຢຸທິສຖິຣາ, ຜູ້ໃດຮັບວຣະຕະ (ຄຳປະຕິຍານ/ພິທີຖືສິນ) ຕາມທີ່ຄຳພີກຳນົດໄວ້ຢ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງ, ເລີ່ມຕົ້ນຢ່າງສົມຄວນ ແລະ ຮັກສາໄວ້ໂດຍບໍ່ຂາດຕອນ—ຜູ້ນັ້ນຍ່ອມໄດ້ຮັບໂລກອັນນິລັນດອນ. ຄຳສອນນີ້ຊີ້ວ່າ ການທຳຕາມທຳມະບໍ່ແມ່ນອາໄສແຕ່ເຈດຕະນາ, ແຕ່ຢູ່ທີ່ການປະຕິບັດຢ່າງສັດຊື່ ແລະ ບໍ່ຂາດຕອນ ຕາມກົດແຫ່ງຄຳພີ».
