Go-apahāra (Cattle Theft), Go-dāna (Cow-Gift), and Suvarṇa-dakṣiṇā (Gold Fee): Karmic Consequence and Purificatory Merit
त्वया तु तारितो<स्म्यद्य किमन्यत्र तपोबलात् । अनुजानीहि मां कृष्ण गच्छेयं दिवमद्य वै
tvayā tu tārito 'smy adya kim anyatra tapobalāt | anujānīhi māṃ kṛṣṇa gaccheyaṃ divam adya vai ||
«ໂອ ພຣະກຣິດສະນະ! ມື້ນີ້ຂ້ອຍໄດ້ຮັບການກູ້ຊ່ວຍໂດຍພຣະອົງ—ຈະມີເຫດອື່ນໃດໄດ້ນອກຈາກພະລັງແຫ່ງຕະປະ (ອໍານາດແຫ່ງການບໍາເພັນພຣະຕະປະ) ຂອງພຣະອົງ? ຂໍພຣະອົງອະນຸຍາດໃຫ້ຂ້ອຍ; ດ້ວຍພຣະອົງອະນຸຍາດ ຂ້ອຍຈະໄປສູ່ສະຫວັນໃນມື້ນີ້ເທົ່ານັ້ນ»។
ब्राह्मण उवाच
Deliverance is attributed to spiritual power (tapas) and the righteous agency of Kṛṣṇa; the verse highlights humility, recognition of higher merit, and the ethical propriety of seeking permission before renouncing worldly life for a higher state.
A Brahmin addresses Kṛṣṇa, declaring that he has been saved and crediting Kṛṣṇa’s ascetic/spiritual potency as the cause; he then asks Kṛṣṇa for leave to depart immediately to heaven.
