Vipulopākhyāna—Ruci-rakṣā and Śakra’s Māyā (विपुलोपाख्यानम्—रुचिरक्षणं शक्रमाया च)
अपीडयन् भूत्यवर्गमित्येवमनुशुश्रुम । पीडयन् भृत्यवर्ग हि आत्मानमपकर्षति
apīḍayan bhṛtyavargam ity evam anuśuśruma | pīḍayan bhṛtyavargaṁ hi ātmānam apakarṣati ||
ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ພວກເຮົາໄດ້ຍິນມາດັ່ງນີ້: ຄວນໃຫ້ທານໂດຍບໍ່ເຮັດໃຫ້ຜູ້ພຶງພາທີ່ຢູ່ໃນຄວາມຮັບຜິດຊອບຂອງຕົນເດືອດຮ້ອນ. ເພາະຜູ້ໃດທີ່ທຳໃຫ້ຄອບຄົວ ແລະຜູ້ພຶງພາທຸກທ້ອນ—ໂດຍຕັດອາຫານ ຫຼືໃຫ້ເຂົາທົນທຸກ—ເພື່ອຈະໃຫ້ທານ ຜູ້ນັ້ນແທ້ຈິງກຳລັງດຶງຕົນເອງໃຫ້ຕົກຕ່ຳ»
