अन्धान् जडान द्रव्यहीनांश्व गड़ा यशस्विनी बृहती विश्वरूपा । देवै: सेन्द्रैमुनिभिमाननवैश्व निषेविता सर्वकामैर्युनक्ति
andhān jaḍān dravyahīnānś ca gaṅgā yaśasvinī bṛhatī viśvarūpā | devaiḥ sendrair munibhiś cānaraiś ca niṣevitā sarvakāmair yunakti ||
ສິດທະກ່າວວ່າ: ເທວະນາງແມ່ນ້ຳຄົງຄາ—ມີກຽດສະຫງ່າ, ຮ່າງໃຫຍ່ກວ້າງ, ແລະປາກົດໄດ້ຫຼາຍຮູບ—ແມ່ນແມ່ນ້ຳທີ່ເທວະດາພ້ອມອິນທຣາ, ນັກບວດມຸນີ, ແລະມະນຸດ ພາກັນໄປນົບນ້ອມຢູ່ເປັນນິດ; ແຕ່ຜູ້ໃດມາຂໍພຶ່ງພານາງ ແມ່ນແມ່ນຄົນຕາບອດ, ໂງ່ທຶບ, ຫຼືຂາດຊັບສິນ ນາງກໍປະທານຄວາມປາດຖະໜາທຸກປະການໃຫ້ສຳເລັດ.
सिद्ध उवाच
Sacred refuge and reverent engagement with a tīrtha like Gaṅgā is portrayed as universally accessible and transformative: even those lacking physical ability, mental sharpness, or wealth can attain fulfillment of legitimate aims through devotion and reliance on divine grace.
A Siddha extols Gaṅgā’s greatness, describing her as revered by gods (with Indra), sages, and humans, and emphasizing her power to bestow all desired benefits upon anyone who seeks her shelter, including the socially or materially disadvantaged.
