सदसद् व्यक्तमव्यक्तं पिता माता पितामह: । स्वर्गद्धारं प्रजाद्वारं मोक्षद्वारं त्रिविष्टपम्
sadasad vyaktam avyaktam pitā mātā pitāmahaḥ | svargadvāraṁ prajādvāraṁ mokṣadvāraṁ trivīṣṭapam ||
ພະວາຍຸກ່າວວ່າ: «ພຣະອົງແມ່ນທັງການມີ (sat) ແລະການບໍ່ມີ (asat); ທັງທີ່ປາກົດ (vyakta) ແລະບໍ່ປາກົດ (avyakta). ພຣະອົງແມ່ນພໍ່, ແມ່, ແລະປູ່ຜູ້ເປັນຕົ້ນສາຍ. ພຣະອົງແມ່ນປະຕູໄປສະຫວັນ, ປະຕູແຫ່ງການກໍ່ກຳເນີດປະຊາ, ແລະປະຕູໄປສູ່ໂມກສະ—ແທ້ຈິງແລ້ວ ພຣະອົງແມ່ນ ຕຣິວິສຖະປະ (Triviṣṭapa) ສະຫວັນນັ້ນເອງ.»
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse presents a single supreme principle as all-encompassing: it transcends dualities (being/non-being, manifest/unmanifest), underlies lineage and generation (father/mother/grandsire), and functions as the effective means toward the highest human aims—heavenly merit, progeny/continuity, and liberation.
Vāyudeva is speaking in a didactic context within the Anuśāsana Parva, offering a compact, exalted description of the ultimate reality (or highest object of reverence) by listing its cosmic, familial, and soteriological dimensions.
