धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

Fruits of Disparaging vs. Observing Dharma; Marks of Good Conduct

क्षत्रियो वा महाभागे वैश्यो वा धर्मचारिणि । स्वानि कर्माण्यपाहाय शूद्रकर्म निषेवते

kṣatriyo vā mahābhāge vaiśyo vā dharmacāriṇi | svāni karmāṇy apāhāya śūdrakarma niṣevate ||

ພຣະມະເຫສະວະຣະກ່າວວ່າ: “ໂອ ນາງຜູ້ສູງສົ່ງ, ໂອ ຜູ້ປະພຶດຕາມທັມມະ—ບໍ່ວ່າຈະເປັນກະສັດຕຣິຍະ (kṣatriya) ຫຼື ໄວສະຍະ (vaiśya) ກໍຕາມ, ຖ້າລະທິ້ງໜ້າທີ່ຂອງຕົນ ແລ້ວໄປເສບວຽກຂອງຊູດຣະ, ຜູ້ນັ້ນຈະຫຼຸດຈາກວັນນະຂອງຕົນ ກາຍເປັນເຫດໃຫ້ເກີດການປົນປົວວັນນະ (varṇa-saṅkara) ແລະໃນການເກີດຕໍ່ໄປ ຈະເກີດໃນຄັນຂອງຊູດຣະ. ບໍ່ວ່າຈະເປັນບຣາຫມະນະ, ກະສັດຕຣິຍະ, ຫຼື ໄວສະຍະ, ໂດຍຄວາມປະພຶດແບບນັ້ນ ຍ່ອມໄປສູ່ສະພາບແລະນິໄສຂອງຊູດຣະ.”
