Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ग्रहस्यथातिबलस्याजड्रे वरदत्तस्य धीमत: । न शस्त्राणि वहन्त्यड्रे चक्रवज्ञशतान्यपि
grahasyathātibalasyāḍre varadattasya dhīmataḥ | na śastrāṇi vahantyāḍre cakravajñaśatāny api ||
ວາສຸເທວາກ່າວວ່າ: «ກຣາຫາຜູ້ມີກໍາລັງຫນັກແລະມີປັນຍາ ຜູ້ໄດ້ຮັບພອນ ມີຄວາມຄົງທົນຈົນແມ່ນອາວຸດນັບຮ້ອຍທີ່ແຫຼມຄົມດັ່ງຈັກຣະ ແລະວັດຊຣະ ກໍບໍ່ອາດຈະທະລຸຮ່າງກາຍຂອງເຂົາໄດ້. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ກໍາລັງແລະອາວຸດລ້ວນໆ ຍ່ອມໄຮ້ຜົນຕໍ່ຜູ້ທີ່ມີພຣະພອນຄຸ້ມຄອງ».
वासुदेव उवाच
The verse underscores that brute force and even the finest weapons may fail against one protected by a divine boon; ethical discernment and understanding of higher powers (boons, vows, dharma) are crucial, not merely martial strength.
Vāsudeva describes a formidable figure named Graha, who—having received a boon—cannot be harmed even by numerous powerful weapons likened to the cakra and vajra, emphasizing his extraordinary invulnerability.
