तुतोष तस्य नृपते मुनेरमिततेजस: । उवाच चैन प्रीतात्मा किमिष्टं करवाणि ते
tutoṣa tasya nṛpate muner amitatejasaḥ | uvāca cainaṃ prītātmā kim iṣṭaṃ karavāṇi te ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໂອ ພຣະຣາຊາ, ພຣະເທວະໄຟ ຍິນດີຢ່າງຍິ່ງຕໍ່ມຸນີຜູ້ມີລັດສະໝີຫາທຽບບໍ່ໄດ້ນັ້ນ. ດ້ວຍໃຈປິຕິ ພຣະອົງຈຶ່ງກ່າວກັບເຂົາວ່າ: “ເຈົ້າປາດຖະໜາສິ່ງໃດ? ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເຮັດໃຫ້ເຈົ້າ.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Sincere praise and right conduct can lead to divine goodwill, but the ethical emphasis is on directing any granted power or boon toward a worthy, dharmic aim rather than mere self-indulgence.
