Origin of Droṇa and Acquisition of Martial Science
देवा ब्रह्मर्षयश्चैव चक्रुः कर्म स्वयं तदा । व्युषिताश्व॒स्ततो राजन्नति मर्त्यान् व्यरोचत
deva brahmarṣayaś caiva cakruḥ karma svayaṃ tadā | vyuṣitāśvas tato rājann ati martyān vyarocat ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ພຣະເທວະ ແລະ ພຣະພຣາຫມະຣິສີ ໄດ້ປະກອບກິດພິທີດ້ວຍຕົນເອງ. ແລະ ພຣະຣາຊາ ວິຍຸສິຕາສະວະ—ໂອ ພຣະຣາຊາ—ກໍໄດ້ສ່ອງສະຫວ່າງເຫນືອມະນຸດທັງປວງ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ideal of dharmic sacrifice: when ritual duty (karma) is performed in exemplary fashion, it generates extraordinary merit and social-spiritual radiance, elevating the performer beyond ordinary human status.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes King Vyuṣitāśva’s sacrifice as so magnificent that the gods and great seers are depicted as personally undertaking the sacrificial tasks, and as a result Vyuṣitāśva is said to outshine other mortals.
