Ayurvedic therapeutic guidance: preparing medicated gruels, nourishing soups, and decoctions using daśamūla, valā, rāsnā, and kulattha to relieve dyspnea (śvāsa) and hiccups (hikkā).
It shows the Agni Purana functioning as a practical knowledge compendium by preserving applied Ayurveda—specific formulations, dosage-forms (peya, kvātha), and indications (respiratory distress and hiccups)—alongside its religious and mythic material.
By promoting healing and preservation of prāṇa (vital breath) through dhārmic, non-harmful remedies, the instruction aligns bodily well-being with the capacity to sustain sādhana, worship, and righteous duties—supporting a life conducive to merit (puṇya).
