Concept: Śubha-kriyā (proper rite) is presented as a causal support for vṛddhi (increase) in artha and household strength.

Application: Do not omit śilānyāsa at gṛha-praveśa; treat it as a required dharmic completion of building-to-living transition.

FAQs

It prescribes Vāstu-related rites: during gṛhapraveśa (entering a new house), one should also perform śilānyāsa (foundation-stone laying) as a prosperity-producing observance.

Beyond theology, it records practical domestic-ritual procedure from Vāstu-śāstra—linking architecture, auspicious timing/rites, and household welfare—showing the text’s wide coverage of applied religious life.

Correctly performed gṛhapraveśa and śilānyāsa are presented as auspicious acts that sanctify the dwelling and generate merit associated with stability, protection, and prosperity (increase of wealth and livestock).
