Concept: Deity is internalized through nyāsa: speech-forms (nāma/mantra) become embodied loci of awareness (hṛdaya etc.).
Application: During pūjā/japa, perform nyāsa slowly, then hold a stable mental image of Ekadanta to reduce distraction and strengthen saṅkalpa.

It gives mantra-nyāsa style assignments—placing specific Gaṇapati epithets as ‘hṛdaya’ (heart) and indicating a ‘jaya’ (victory) formula—supporting dhyāna and ritual empowerment in Gaṇeśa worship.
Beyond mythology, it functions as a practical ritual handbook: it preserves technical liturgical details (mantra epithets, nyāsa points like hṛdaya/śikhā, and victory-formula usage), illustrating the Purāṇa’s coverage of applied temple and domestic worship procedures.
Nyāsa and dhyāna internalize the deity’s presence in the practitioner’s body-mind, aiming at obstacle-removal (Gaṇeśa’s domain), steadiness, and ‘jaya’—successful completion of rites and auspicious outcomes.
