Ayurvedic therapeutic guidance: administering a preparation with goat’s milk and oil as an ingestible (internal) remedy to promote body-hair growth and to arrest hair fall (keśa-sthāpana).
It shows the Agni Purana functioning as a practical compendium, preserving applied Ayurveda alongside theology—here, a targeted regimen for cosmetic/clinical concerns (hair loss and hair growth).
While primarily medical, such prescriptions reflect the Purāṇic ideal of sustaining bodily health as a support for dharma—maintaining the body enables continued ritual, study, and disciplined living.
