Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Cosmology","secondary_vidya":"Vastu","practical_application":"Constructing a cosmogram for worship: placing kāla-tattva, sūryādi planetary circle, Garuḍa at the center, and guru-lines from vāyavya to īśāna for lineage invocation and spatial sanctification.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"List","entry_title":"Kāla-tattva, Sūryādi-maṇḍala, Garuḍa-madhya, Gurupaṅkti (Vāyavya→Īśāna)","lookup_keywords":["kala-tattva","suryadi-mandala","garuda","vayavya","isana"],"quick_summary":"Depict Time-principle and the solar/planetary circle; place Garuḍa in the center; arrange the guru lineage in rows from the north-west sector up to the north-east, integrating cosmology with ritual space."}
Concept: Ritual cosmology: time and planetary order are ritually internalized; guru-paramparā is spatially enthroned as the conduit of vidyā.
Application: Use the layout to synchronize japa/pūjā with cosmological visualization and to anchor practice in lineage remembrance (guru-smaraṇa).

Related Themes: Agni Purana 33 (mandala-vinyāsa context); Agni Purana cosmology/graha descriptions in other chapters (graha-maṇḍala material)
It gives mandala-vinyāsa (cosmogram layout): place kāla-tattva and the sūryādi planetary circle, set Garuḍa at the center, and arrange the guru-lineage rows directionally from Vāyavya (NW) up to Īśāna (NE).
It blends cosmology (kāla-tattva), astral mapping (sūryādi-maṇḍala), iconography (Garuḍa), and vastu/directional protocol (vāyavya-to-īśāna placement), showing the text’s practical coverage of ritual diagrams alongside metaphysical theory.
Correct mandala placement is treated as aligning the practitioner with cosmic order—Time, luminaries, and guru-paramparā—supporting purity of worship and steadiness of merit (puṇya) through properly ordered ritual space.
